First comes love, then comes divorce, then comes moving into a new home.

That’s what’s happened to newly minted divorcee Melanie Griffith, who has settled into a flashy rental spread in the celeb-studded Outpost Estates nabe (see photos here).

This rental deal comes roughly two months after Griffith and her now-ex, Antonio Banderas, sold their 15,110-square-foot Hancock Park mansion for $15.94 million, which broke a neighborhood sale record.

Reports say Griffith is paying a cool $50,000 per month for her new 4,725-square-foot spread. However, the listing broker declined to comment for this story, and the figure could not be confirmed. The four-bedroom, 4½-bathroom pad was last asking $30,000 monthly, according to the property gossips at Variety.

Whatever the price, Griffith is getting a nice package. The Mediterranean-style thrilla-of-a-villa has charming touches like exposed wood beams, ironwork, arched windows and coffered ceilings.

The living room has a barrel-vaulted ceiling, there’s an oversize steam shower in the master bathroom and ― perfect for entertaining ― there’s also a leopard print-carpeted movie theater with tiered seating. Very “Working Girl”-esque!

Outside, there’s a built-in grilling station, pool with cabana and a courtyard with fireplace.

Other famous Outpost Estates residents include Charlize Theron, Felicity Huffman and Salma Hayek.
