We hear… that Douglas Elliman brokers Fredrik Eklund, a star of Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing New York,” and his business partner John Gomes took a road trip with their husbands to Greystone on Hudson, 13 miles north of Manhattan, where they‘re looking to buy two adjacent estates.

The homes in this luxury complex — created “in the spirit of the Gilded Age” — are in the $8 to $10 million range and come with six bedrooms, 10 bathrooms on 2 to 5-acre lots.

We hear … that Compass has raised $50 million in new funding led by Institutional Venture Partners.

Total capital raised to date is $123 million, and this new round now values the young brokerage at roughly $800 million.
