In 2010, during the height of the economic crisis, Cohen — who was then chairman and CEO of the Philadelphia-based Cohen & Co. firm — sold investment businesses his company seeded with $219 million for $5.4 million to Fortress Investment Group.

Looks like he’s recovered just fine.
