A $32 million penthouse has hit the market at 215 Chrystie St., a condo building developer by hotelier Ian Schrager and designed by Herzog & de Meuron on the Lower East Side.

A mystery buyer shielded behind an LLC paid $16 million for the apartment in December 2017, according to property records. The four-bedroom, 4½-bathroom unit is 4,236 square feet and is the first penthouse in the building up for resale.

The full-floor residence was designed by architect John Pawson and reimagined by top designer Ken Fulk.

An entrance gallery with oversized art walls leads to a 1,580-square-foot great room with high ceilings, an open chef’s kitchen with a butler’s pantry and prep kitchen, and panoramic views from 266 feet of floor-to-ceiling windows.

The master bedroom has a “midnight bar,” a black walnut dressing area with walk-in closets and custom doors, and a spa-like bathroom.

There’s also a media room/fourth bedroom with an en-suite bath and a custom-built fireplace.

The penthouse, which sits atop Schrager’s Public Hotel, features amenities like a doorman, a concierge, a gym and the hotel’s bars and clubs — including room service from the Jean-Georges Vongerichten restaurant.
