Jam-band legend and Phish frontman Trey Anastasio has sold his Snedens Landing home, known as the Cliff House, for $1.83 million.
We gather Anastasio lost about $1 million; we don’t know exactly how much he spent on renovations and other fees.
Trey AnastasioShutterstockHe bought the home for $2.7 million in 2009 from “Sopranos” star Lorraine Bracco after she split from Harvey Keitel; they had bought it from actress Ellen Burstyn in 1989.
The renovated home, at 40 Lawrence Lane, is perched on a hill overlooking the Hudson River.
Over 2,120 square feet, it features three bedrooms, three fireplaces and a woodburning stove.
The residence is on 2 landscaped acres and stands adjacent to a 2,500-acre park along the river.
It was previously asking $2.99 million when it first went on the market in 2015.
The listing broker was Richard Ellis of Ellis Sotheby’s International Realty.
