Michael Sgouros, owner of the Players Theatre off-Broadway — which also houses the historic Cafe Wha?, where legendary talents from Jimi Hendrix to Bruce Springsteen performed in their early days — has a new home of his own.

Sgouros purchased a fourth-floor unit at 70 Charlton St. for $1.52 million, according to city property records.

The unit, in the Hudson Square neighborhood, was purchased via an LLC, “Bravo Is Awesome.”

While Gimme Shelter couldn’t help but note that Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing New York” has filmed in the building, this unit has nothing to do with the network. The LLC, Sgouros tells us, is named after their theater dog, named Bravo, who’s owned by one of their producers.

“He greets everyone at the theater, and he even makes an appearance in our annual Christmas carol show, which launches in November,” Sgouros says.

And while “MDLNY” star Steve Gold, of Corcoran, had nothing to do with the Sgouros sale, he does happen to be the co-listing broker of the building’s penthouse, which was asking $8.49 million, and entered contract last week. “It’s a significant deal for the neighborhood,” says Gold, who shares the listing with Jessica Gomberg.

That 3,193-square-foot unit comes with four bedrooms and a 2,150-square-foot roof terrace.
