Rose McGowan has sold her Los Angeles home to fight the man she calls “the monster,” Harvey Weinstein.
The actress-turned-whistleblowing activist has netted more than $1.93 million to fund her legal fight against the disgraced film mogul, who she claims raped her in 1997.
McGowan, known for her roles in “Charmed” and “Jawbreaker,” announced her plans to sell the Hollywood Hills four-bedroom in January. Later that month, the spread listed for $1.9 million. She purchased it for $1.39 million in 2011.
The home measures 2,927 square feet and features open-plan living spaces, a double-sided fireplace and an outdoor lounge area with a fire pit.
Israeli filmmaker Ariel Vromen, known for “The Iceman,” is the home’s new owner.
The news was first reported by Variety.
