Has Marigay McKee, the stunning president of Saks Fifth Avenue, been shopping the home aisles of her stores to deck out new digs?
Turns out her fiancé, William Ford, CEO of General Atlantic, is the buyer of an Upper East Side townhouse in the East 80s that traded hands this summer for $23.5 million, Gimme Shelter has learned.
McKee, who launched her career as a senior beauty buyer at Harrods in 1999, became chief merchant before hopping the pond to head Saks in 2013.
The 23-foot-wide home, built in 1883, is 8,950 square feet and comes with its own elevator. McKee also owns her own townhouse in London.
Neither McKee nor Ford returned calls for comment.
