Italian artist Bettina Werner, known as the “Salt Queen” for her work made of salt crystals, has relisted her Financial District home for $1.89 million.
That’s down from its $1.99 million asking price in 2019, as we reported at the time, which was 40 percent off its original $3.39 million price tag in 2017. (There have been numerous drops and broker swaps.)
The two-bedroom, two-bathroom home is 1,809 square feet. There are 11-foot ceilings, oversize windows and an open kitchen.
The condo is at Downtown by Philippe Starck, located at 15 Broad St., directly across from the New York Stock Exchange.
Werner, whose art is in museums from Las Vegas to Moscow, purchased the home for $1.59 million in 2006.
The listing brokers are Erin Boisson Aries and Dustin Crouse of Christie’s International Real Estate.
