The weather outside is frightful, but it’s sunny times for TV weatherman Sam Champion — who just sold his Lincoln Square penthouse for a cool $4.72 million, according to city property records.

The spacious, 1,950 square foot apartment, on the 33rd floor of 45 W. 67th St., is a breezy two bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms.

It was originally asking $5.995 million earlier this year.

The penthouse comes with a large foyer that leads to the living and dining rooms and “two terraces and atrium glass windows,” according to the listing.

The bedrooms come with en-suite bathrooms and lots of storage space.

Although the red brick building with the limestone base is pet friendly, it sounds like they have a rather vigilant form of a pet police program, as the listing notes that rottweilers and pitbulls are verboten and “only two cats” are allowed per apartment.

Champion, who now has his own show on the Weather Channel, bought the penthouse for $750,000 in 1995.
