A modern new-construction home at 340 N. Cliffwood Ave. in Brentwood, Calif., built on the site of a 1930s “English country manor” — formerly owned by late actor John Ritter of “Three’s Company” — is now on the market for $17.8 million.

Or, for commitment-phobes, it’s also available as a $58,000-a-month rental.

The seller is top broker Ron Wynn of WSA-Coldwell Banker, who is also co-listing the home with The Agency’s James Harris, of “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles,” which premieres Jan. 3.

The tony Brentwood neighborhood, home to old Hollywood stars like Joan Crawford, Bette Davis and Marilyn Monroe, now attracts current actors like Meryl Streep, Gwyneth Paltrow and Reese Witherspoon.

The seven-bedroom, 10-bathroom home is 8,950 square feet.

The property — inspired by South African architect Nico Van Der Meulen’s Glass House in Johannesburg — features curved walls, floating ceilings and reflection pools in the front and back.

Says Wynn, “Our dream was to create something free-spirited, modern and hip.”
