The St. Barts beachfront compound of the late furniture designer Christian Liagre is back on the market — for the slashed price of $7.32 million (down from $10.68 million), a source said.

St. Barts perfectly captures that hedonistic, yet family-oriented mix of St. Tropez and the Hamptons.

But this villa is all about quiet luxury. The stunning property is on Marigot Bay.

At 2,303 square feet, it comes with four bedrooms and water views, as well as other structures.

Liagre passed in 2020 at age 77.

In a 2013 Elle Decor profile, he said true luxury is simplicity — the essentials of “air, space and light” and that the house never feels small because they spend most of their time outside, anyway, where he enjoyed watching “turtles bathing and fish jumping.”

The house is set on a beach that is part of a protected natural marine reserve.

“Essentially, what I set out to build was a fisherman’s hut,” he once said — with no air-conditioning but plenty of joie de vivre. The listing broker, Rimma Pignet, of Barnes International Realty, declined to comment.
