Cheers!

A posh Plaza Hotel penthouse is on the market for the first time since tequila tsar Juan Beckmann Vidal bought it from the sponsor for nearly $23 million in 2008.

The three-bedroom, 3½-bathroom duplex on the 20th and 21st floors is 3,974 square feet and comes with 590 square feet on the exterior. It’s on the market for $34.95 million.

Beckmann Vidal’s family has owned the world’s largest tequila producer, Jose Cuervo, for 11 generations. Beckmann Vidal, who along with his family has a total net worth of $5.6 billion, according to Forbes, is the company’s chairman.

Jose Cuervo went public in February, raising over $900 million, according to reports.

This isn’t Beckmann Vidal’s sole home in the city; he owns three units in Trump Tower that are used by his family.

Beckmann Vidal is also the owner of an 84th-floor unit at 432 Park Ave., which he bought for $44.6 million in May, per city records, and not without its drama. In February, he sued Harry Macklowe’s Macklowe Properties and CIM Group to get his $11.56 million contract back after the unit was damaged in a “catastrophic flood,” according to Page Six.

His sprawling Plaza unit features a “clear glass parapet wall on Central Park spanning the entire 21st floor,” according to the listing.

The gut-renovated unit features a 40-foot living room and a formal dining room with raised ceilings that are more than 12 feet high, and plenty of custom wood cabinetry and beveled glass.

The tequila mogul’s meticulous attention to detail includes a custom carved stairway and a wood-paneled internal elevator. There’s also an eat-in chef’s kitchen and a master bedroom suite with a woodburning fireplace, a terrace, a sitting room and a spa-like bathroom.

The home is smart-wired for lighting, shades and music.

Of course, there’s also a wet bar — with plenty of tequila — that is in a “whimsical boat room” adjacent to the master suite, the listing notes.

The listing brokers are Brenda Powers and Elizabeth Sample, of Sotheby’s International Realty.
