Thankless tasks
According to this story at HousingWire.com, a survey of bank executives by the Bank Administration Institute (BAI) finds that only 12 percent of respondents feel the government’s Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) “positively impacted their operations.”
Looking over ProPublica’s roundup of institutions holding TARP funds, though, we can’t help but wonder, do the disgruntled 88 percent all just happen to represent banks not on this list, or do they just hate that goverment money so much they can’t bear to give it back?
