A waterfront home in The Bronx is on the market for a cool $25,000 a month — making it the priciest residence now available for rent in the borough, according to StreetEasy.
Such an eye-popping price tag would grab attention anywhere in the city, even along Manhattan’s luxurious Central Park South or 57th Street, but it’s an unusually high ask for The Bronx.
The four-bedroom listing located in Pelham Bay’s Country Club neighborhood advertises “resort-style living” along the shoreline of Eastchester Bay.

Country Club is a historically Italian American neighborhood, located just south of the city’s largest public park, Pelham Bay Park. The suburban enclave is named for the Country Club of Westchester, a historic social and sporting club that kick-started the surrounding community and burned down in 1922.
Listing agent Pedro Felix of Compass acknowledged that the rental offering is rather unique. The area’s golf and boating offerings certainly attract high-earners, as does the nearby hospital system, but renters are few and far between.
“This is really a sale neighborhood,” Felix told The Post. “Most people will buy before renting this type of property. The owner understands that it’s not something common.”

The Spanish-Mediterranean style home spans 7,100 square feet on its waterfront lot. The home was built in 1997, according to Department of Buildings records.
“It’s a Long Island old-school vibe,” Felix said.
The roomy interiors include a chef’s kitchen with granite countertops, a formal dining room and a double-sided fireplace, plus a finished basement. Outside, a heated in-ground pool is surrounded by a large stone terrace, overlooking the bay and the home’s private boat slip. A koi pond sits nearby — koi included.
For-sale homes in Country Club currently range from $600,000 to $4 million, but rentals are a true rarity. The only other option for month-to-month tenancy in the neighborhood is a $2,500-a-month co-op, according to StreetEasy.
“The average Joe is not going to rent [this home],” Felix said. He suggested the listing might attract a surgeon at one of the nearby hospitals, or a movie star shooting a movie for part of the year.
