Don PeeblesGetty Images for Haute LivingReal estate tycoon Don Peebles, founder, president and CEO of Peebles Corp. and a potential New York City mayoral candidate, has just re-listed his stately Sag Harbor, NY, home for $9.99 million.
The property, at 1100 Brick Kiln Road, was asking $14 million last year with a different brokerage firm.
Peebles bought the home for $5.39 million in 2007.
The new listing calls it “fit for a king.” The 7,000-square-foot residence features six bedrooms, three fireplaces and a three-story marble staircase and foyer.
The property covers 10 acres and comes with two guest homes, a pool and lots of specimen trees.
The listing brokers are Douglas Elliman’s Paul Brennan and Ronald White.
