Talk about star quality!

There’s a 2,029-square-foot, three-bedroom home outside Denver now on the market for $599,000 that, at ground level, looks oddly angular. But if you were to fly over this midcentury property, or at the very least look at its floor plan, you’ll see it bears the shape of a six-sided star, according to Curbed.

“The house is literally one-of-a-kind,” the owner, Merle McClung, told the Denver Post last year. “I’m not aware of another like it.”

The spread, which sits on a .28-acre lot, dates back to the ’60s, and local lore boasts that it was designed by a student of legendary architect Frank Lloyd Wright.

The exterior boasts wood and brick accents. But the interior is even better.

A large, circle-shaped skylight hovers above the middle of the single-story pad, and fills the space with light.

“Everything radiates from the center of the star,” McClung told the Denver Post. “At night you can see the moon and stars.”

Light also enters through other skylights, which are smaller, as well as through large glass windows.

Wooden details extend inside; the kitchen comes with wood panels, but 1960s-chic canary yellow appliances add pops of color. There’s also a bathroom with tiles and fixtures colored the same hue, listing images show.

The living room has a free-standing chiminea-style fireplace, as well as a custom-built fish tank.

“The only negative I ever heard was ‘It’s architecturally wonderful, but how do you fit a bed in here?’ ” McClung told the Denver Post — and it is a good point. But a glance through the images shows all the pieces of furniture fit quite well in their respective corners.

The Realty Dot is marketing this listing.
