The Garment District is back in fashion.

Real estate database PropertyShark released its list of the most expensive neighborhoods in New York City based on 2018’s median closed sales prices.

While Tribeca and Soho remain at the top of the heap, the Garment District — which still has many showrooms and wholesale clothing shops, as well as hallmarks like Macy’s (above), between Sixth and Ninth avenues and roughly 34th and 40th streets — sashayed into third place.

Its median sales price of $2.33 million, based on 41 transactions in the area (many at 16 W. 40th St.), marked a 41 percent increase from the prior year.

But Tribeca’s $3.85 million median price (based on 289 sales in the area) and Soho’s $2.99 million (based on 117) still trump the remnants of Fashion Avenue.
