We hear that Moinian Group’s Sky rental in Midtown is offering residents of its Vue penthouses, made up of five stories of luxury apartments atop the 1,175-unit tower, use of a Volvo XC90 Excellence car with a driver.
Residents can sign up to use the vehicle from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. daily within the confines of 72nd and 14th streets, and Sixth to 12th avenues.
According to the Web site, Vue penthouses currently start at $5,100/month for a one-bedroom.
We also hear that artist Bradley Theodore, whose collectors include Adrien Brody and Nina Dobrev, painted a custom work for 261 Hudson, Related’s new luxury residential building west of Soho. Theodore, a Turks and Caicos-born Haitian who lived in Paris and speaks Japanese, travels almost constantly but calls New York City home. He launched his career as a street artist.
