The listing for this resort-style mansion in New Jersey’s Bergen County is making quite a splash.
NJ.com reports this $5.89 listing is for a 10,000-square-foot home possessing a Mediterranean charm, with soaring arches and domed ceilings.
But it’s one indoor amenity that sets it all apart.
The Saddle River home was custom-built in 2017. Incustudio
The indoor pool room rises two stories. IncustudioA massive double-height indoor pool room stands at the back of the home. The swirling pool is fed by a cascading waterfall with natural stonework. Not to go without landscaping, the scattering of tropical plants atop the waterfall are real and meticulously cared for — and a hidden grotto is tucked inside the rocky structure. On the level above, a mezzanine looks out to the well-designed display.
While European-inspired mansions such as this are nothing new to the tri-state suburbs, the view of an indoor waterfall from a kitchen balcony certainly is. Listing agent Tony Nabhan, of Keller Williams City Views Realty, said the aquatic amenity is “unlike any indoor pool layout you’ve seen.”
“The indoor pool and grotto are obviously the most talked-about features,” Nabhan told The Post in a statement. “It leaves people speechless.”

The interior of the private grotto feature. IncustudioDespite the grand scale of the pool, water-loving buyers shouldn’t worried about their future home smelling like a waterpark. The pool uses bromine to keep clean. Bromine is known as a much milder-smelling chemical than harsh chlorine.
The villa-style residence, set on a roughly 2-acre lot, opens to a double-height foyer with marble floors, a chandelier and wrought iron detailing along the stairs. Vaulted ceilings supported by columns extend through the living spaces. The home offers six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms.
A tubular, glass elevator connects all three floors.

Wrought iron railings and soaring columns line the main floor. IncustudioDespite its bucolic surroundings, this property’s blend of family-friendly amusement and neo-classical opulence is not out of place.
The property is located in the suburban borough of Saddle River, an exclusive enclave where residential properties often span several acres and median sale prices neared $3 million in August, according to Redfin. The likes of Richard Nixon, Rosie O’Donnell and Mary J. Blige have called the tony borough home.
The current owners acquired the land in 2013, according to county records, and completed their dream home in 2017. The pool was a centerpoint of the home from the start, according to Nabhan.
Nabhan’s team opted to market the uncommon home with a similarly unique listing video — hiring a local mermaid to flaunt its aquatic appeal.

The rest of the floor features a second kitchen, a recreation room, a gym and a spa-like bathroom with multiple showers. A large firepit offers even more space for entertaining outside.
The sellers are parting with the home now that their children are older, sources said.
