Pratt Area Community Council has joined the Center for NYC Neighborhoods and its partners in presenting this home rescue fair, where New Yorkers at risk of foreclosure will “Rise Up & Stay Put!” Free services that will be provided include one-on-one sessions with HUD-certified counselors and attorneys, one-on-one sessions with loan specialists from major lenders (Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Chase, Citi, HSBC, One West/Indy Mac, GMAC, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae) and foreclosure prevention workshops. 10 am-3 pm. Douglas Cramer and Hugh Bush Auction
Cramer, a legendary Hollywood television producer whose credits include “Dynasty” and “The Love Boat,” and his partner, artist/writer Hugh Bush, are widely known for their collection of contemporary and modern art and antique furniture. The entire contents of their Dogwood Farm residence will be up for auction, with 500 lots including exquisite home furnishings designed for and collected by iconic interior designers such as David Anthony Easton, Michael Taylor, Mica Ertegun and Nicky Haslam. Many impressive prints by artists such as Ellsworth Kelly, Josef Albers, Jim Dine, David Hockney, Andy Warhol, Ed Ruscha, Roy Lichtenstein, Frank Stella, Robert Motherwell and Robert Rauschenberg will be sold, as well.
