Designer Tommy Hilfiger and his wife Dee Ocleppo have finally found a buyer for their Plaza Hotel penthouse.

After an epic 11 years on and off the market — and asking prices as high as $80 million — the sprawling trophy home is in contract for $33.25 million, The Post has learned exclusively.

Some of the four-bedroom home’s exquisite furniture will also be included in the deal, sources say.

It is one of the city’s few homes with its own turret which includes a mural of The Plaza’s most famous resident, Eloise, hand-painted by her creator, Hilary Knight. (It’s used as a tea room or breakfast nook.)

Hilfiger bought the corner duplex for $25.5 million in 2008, and then tried to flip it for $50 million a few months later.

In 2013, following an extravagant renovation, the 6,050-square-foot home went back on the market for an eye-popping $80 million.

Hilfiger and Ocleppo are rarely in the city these days because they spend most of their time in their magnificent castle in Greenwich, Conn.

But despite (or perhaps because of) its designer flair, the home never lured a buyer.

By 2016, the price had dropped to $58.9 million and then even lower.

The art-filled corner penthouse features Central Park and Fifth Avenue views and 10- to 35-foot ceiling heights. The upper level, reached by a spiral staircase, includes a decorative fireplace in the master suite and a terrace that overlooks the park. The chef’s kitchen sports sleek black cabinetry, an office/library space is also clad in black and the three additional bedrooms come decked out, in part, with nautical and rock n’ roll themes.

Like many units at The Plaza, it lingered on the market as supertall towers were built around them. It was even deemed “unsellable.”

“The Plaza is undervalued. But people are getting tired of the glass towers. It will come back,” said one broker, who has toured the unit. “This is a steal.”
