Famed choreographer Tommy Tune’s former penthouse just sold for a song.
Once asking $14 million in 2013, the three-bedroom, 3½-bathroom duplex, which sits atop the Park Regis at 50 E. 89th St., was just sold to a former CEO for $8.25 million.
In 2006, Tune sold the 3,000-square-foot unit to Julia Kim and Stephen Rushmore for $6 million.
They hired designer John Barman, brought in an Italian landscaper, added details like a Murano glass chandelier and then put the duplex — which comes with a 1,450-square-foot wrap terrace — back on the market.
The buyer’s broker was Town Residential’s Lyon Porter.
