A brick and limestone East Village townhouse built by architect James Renwick, the famed creator of St. Patrick’s Cathedral, will hit the auction block Nov. 11.
Its owner, publicist Pierre Rougier — the founder and president of PR Consulting — has set the starting bid for the five-story residence, at 112 E. 10th St., at $7.49 million. That’s 25% below its appraised price of $10 million and less than its $8.49 million asking price in May.
Rougier has top clients including Louis Vuitton, Raf Simons, Christian Dior and Versace.
He also has an eye for a bargain — snapping up this historic home for $1.4 million in 2004, according to property records.
Built in 1861, the structure measures 5,800 square feet.
