Talk-show legend Larry King admits he’s far from discerning when it comes to bedding. “I’m not an expert on two-ply or three-ply, but I know what feels good,” he tells The Post.

Meanwhile, his wife of almost 19 years, Shawn, is a connoisseur. “I’m such a freak about sheets,” she says. “I’ve bought sheets from hotels before. I’ve bought sheets when I’m embarrassed to name the price. It was decadent and stupid.”

Now she has another option: her own line of home goods, Sleep Like a King, which went on sale on Wednesday. The products — which are designed by both Kings — include soft sheets, pillowcases, robes, towels and alpaca throws, as well as scented candles, soaps and diffusers.

Prices are actually reasonable, like $9.99 for a bar of soap emblazoned with a crown and $89.99 for a set with flat and fitted sheets plus two pillowcases.

The goods, only available online are a collaboration with manufacturer Sobel Westex, a company that supplies bedding for top-tier hotels like the Four Seasons and the Wynn in Las Vegas. The company owner approached the Kings about a collaboration after attending a party at the their California house where, Shawn says, there was “a line out the door with people waiting to take pictures with Larry.”

Fast forward one year. Now, Shawn, 56, enthuses over thread counts, fragrances, and alpaca shearing techniques while showing off their wares in a Central Park-facing suite at Trump International Tower, while Larry, 82, deadpans jokes.

“It’s sounds so weird, but I can’t wait to get to bed. We do spend so much of our time in bed,” she says. “I try to get six or seven hours a night,” he banters. “You go to sleep at 4, 5 a.m. and wake up at 11.” In return, she teases him about owning a flip phone.

Shawn says she lights candles around their house often, gesturing to a counter of fragrant candles named after their favorite destinations, from Soho to Saint-Tropez. “Ambience in the bedroom is a big deal,” she explains. “It’s the most important room in the house.”

“She is either starting a fire, having a seance or wants another kid,” Larry quips, though he adds that, when it comes to having an inviting bedroom: “I’ll give you a Jewish phrase, ‘It can’t hurt.’ ”

Larry says he loves to watch sports, read and relax in his spare time. Shawn adds a plug, grinning, “as long you’re wrapped in an alpaca blanket” — one of their own, of course.
