Geoffrey Berman, the US attorney for the Southern District of New York, has listed his Princeton, NJ, home for $2.7 million.

The 5,978-square-foot spread features four bedrooms, four bathrooms and two powder rooms on 2.99 acres, per its Realtor.com listing.

Berman got his start working as an associate counsel in the Office of Independent Counsel for the Iran-Contra investigation — when Reagan administration officials secretly sold arms to Iran to fund the Contras, a right-wing rebel group in Nicaragua — and then served as assistant US attorney for New York’s Southern District from 1990 to 1994.

This week, Berman weighed in on the case of Buffalo, NY-area lawmaker Chris Collins, who pleaded guilty on Tuesday to an insider-trading scheme.

As Berman spends more time in New York on high-profile cases, he has less need for his New Jersey residence. The brick manor-style house, with interiors by designer Victoria Hagan, was built in 1985.

It features four fireplaces, a chef’s kitchen, a living room with floor-to-ceiling windows, and a large entrance foyer with 20-foot ceilings and an open staircase.
