Wait, that’s illegal?
From the Real Deal comes this story of one Louis Cherico, an attorney currently facing up to 30 years in prison for allegedly purchasing “multi-million dollar residential properties in the New York metro area with loans obtained through submission of false and misleading information to banks and other lenders.”
Wow. Given all the shady stated-income loans flying around town this past decade, Cherico must have really told some whoppers.
