WE HEAR… that Corcoran broker Lori Mendelis bought a ready-made 400-square foot one-bedroom, one-bathroom home, sight unseen, for $150,000 from ESCAPE Homes ― a maker of eco-conscious RV homes.

She bought the deluxe model with her husband ― for their 26-acre property in the Catskills. “You don’t need more space than this. I get the tiny-home movement,” she tells Gimme Shelter.

“It was a leap of faith but it is energy efficient and well made ― with double sinks in the bathroom and heated floors,” Mendelis said.
