While Jason Alexander backed out of his Bay Street Theater commitment to take over Larry David’s role as Norman Drexel in “Fish in the Dark”, he’s still committed to the East End, Gimme Shelter has learned.

Alexander has rented a four bedroom traditional home in East Hampton for the summer.

The beach manse, built in 1999 and which comes with a heated pool, was asking $140,000 for the summer.

Alexander’s broker, Randi Ball of The Corcoran Group, declined to comment.
