On Tuesday, Oct. 26, Apple launched the third generation of AirPods, and The Post is wondering whether or not they’re worth the hype.

One way to find out? Reviews!

First, the new AirPods — which are, surprisingly, less than $200 — include a few new features that are worth pointing out. Since the first time AirPods (not to be confused with the AirPods Pros) debuted in 2016, they have a completely new design.

These babies feature a spatial sound that gives you a three-dimensional listening experience from music, TV shows, movies, podcasts and more — immersing you in sounds from every direction. The idea is to give the user a theater-like experience so you can feel like you’re in your very own concert hall.

The new AirPods also have adaptive EQ, which means the earbuds will effectively tailor the sound coming out of them based on the shape of your ear. Plus, they boast a longer battery life (six hours of listening on one charge and up to 30 hours of listening time with the MagSafe charging case).

They also have Siri capabilities and are sweat- and water-resistant, so they’re ideal for those who want to use them during exercise.

If you’re looking for a customizable fit for your ears and an active noise-canceling experience, unfortunately, this earbud option won’t give you that. If those features are important, consider checking out the Apple AirPods Pros, which have more than 260,000 reviews on Amazon.com. They’re also currently $82 off!

Speaking of reviews, here are some of the best from Amazon on the new, third-generation AirPods.

“These are a step up from the [second generation] AirPods,” said one person. “I can run and workout and they stay in. These are the best fit so far, sound quality is also [better], I highly recommend over the pros even though you don’t get noise canceling [capabilities].”

In comparison to the Pros, one reviewer said they “are excellent for those who want to save a few bucks and don’t need the active noise cancelation.” The same person described the audio as “warm and balanced” with exceptional bass.

“I can walk, run, jump, shake my head, laugh, yawn, put a mask on and take it off — these things remain snugly in my ears while also hardly feeling like anything is there,” said another happy reviewer.

While there are always going to be mixed reviews on every product, it seems like they’re worth giving a shot!
