Your denim collection is about to get just a little better now that H&M has launched its new Jeans Redesign line.
The collection features three jean styles, a trucker jacket and a minimal patch-pocket overshirt.
There is also a tote bag and a bucket hat — which you can pair with an endless amount of looks.
Focused on meeting the standards set forth in the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s Make Fashion Circular initiative, the collection aimed to make both the denim design and production processes more circular.
And these sustainability steps resulted in a line that is both durable and recyclable.
To aid in helping shoppers reuse their denim in creative ways, the pieces in the collection use fewer metal rivets and zippers. Plus, H&M removed the back leather patch.
Pieces in the collection are crafted from reused denim H&M collected from customers as well as production leftovers. To reduce the impact on the environment during the production process, the brand also included no conventional plating on the metal trims and used Tencel threads so the jeans can be easily recycled.
With their workwear-inspired silhouettes, the pieces in the line are fall fashion must-haves.
So take a look through the Jeans Redesign collection and get ready to rock some sustainable new denim faves.
