As I’ve gotten older, my germaphobia has really kicked into high gear. Let me tell you, living in New York City is not that great when you have a tendency to obsess over dirt and germs. I have a constant fear in the back of my mind that I’m tracking stuff into my apartment that could be potentially harmful to me and my husband or our cat. It’s either something I should work on with a therapist or just resolve with better cleaning products. Cleaning products seem like the easier way to go.
My job exposes me to a lot of cool gadgets and products that promise to make my life easier. As I look to upgrade my cleaning arsenal, my sight is set on a new vacuum. The space is pretty crowded with tons of brands claiming to offer the most advanced tech in the marketplace.
I already own a robot vacuum that simply sucks up dirt and crumbs, but I’m not satisfied. I need something more. My hunt for the right vacuum brought me to Dreame.
I have heard a lot about the brand since their 2017 launch and have been impressed with their reviews, so I was curious to give them a whirl. With two new upright vacuum mop models just added to their line-up, and both reduced 20% until March 31st, now seems like the perfect time.
Dreame Aero
DreameI’m really digging the sleek design of this all-in-one mop-vac. It works on both wet and dry messes without the need to go over the same area several times to get the job done. The Aero is also built with TangleCut 2.0 technology so hair doesn’t get clogged up in the roller brush. But perhaps one of the coolest features is the one-press self-cleaning, which flushes out debris and keeps the machine hygienic. Other features include:
- Enhanced 25kPa suction power
- 35 minutes of cleaning time off a single battery charge
- An ultra-thin body that can lay flat at 180 degrees
Aero Pro
DreameComing in at a slightly higher price, the Pro model has two key differences that justify the upgrade. First and foremost, this model can run on a single charge for nearly double the amount of time (60 minutes.) The self-cleaning feature is also elevated here with the addition of heated water and a heated drying cycle to keep moisture and odor out.
With all of that out of the way, I’d say the time has come to bring your Bissell to the curb and send your Shark to swim with the fishes. The Aero and Aero Pro are here now to make all of your spring cleaning Dreames come true. I know at least I’ll sleep easier knowing my floors got a more thorough cleaning with my Aero. It’s slimmer, stronger, and taking vacuums into a new evolutionary phase.
