The flip phone is making a comeback.
And Samsung is adding a new challenger to the folding phone game with the release of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip.
The Galaxy Z Flip, which is the followup to last year’s Samsung Galaxy Fold, was released on February 14.
The horizontal smartphone features a 6.7” foldable glass display, a customized flex mode that splits the display into two screens, and a revolutionary camera that is perfect for capturing timed photos and videos.
It can even stand without support, allowing users to easily take hands-free pictures. And the flash feature has been traded out for a Night Mode that captures low-light photos and videos on its own.

Notifications are shown on the cover display, so you’ll never miss any important texts, calls, or scheduled events.

The device also features a high-quality battery, security settings, and helpful applications, like Samsung Pay and Samsung Health.

Compared to the Motorola RAZR, which was the first folding phone to hit the market back in November 2019, the Galaxy Z Flip has a bigger screen, longer battery life, and faster processor, among other stronger offerings.
And with a price of $1379.99, the phone is $600 cheaper than the Galaxy Fold, with you being able to buy it full price or in installments at both Sprint and AT&T.

The phone is available, in Mirror Black and Mirror Purple, starting February 14 in Korea and the United States.
