Danica Patrick’s ESPYs monologue hit the skids, but boyfriend Aaron Rodgers still has her back.

Following her widely panned opening from Wednesday’s ceremony, the newly retired race car driver penned a lengthy post thanking her support system, including Green Bay’s star quarterback.

“Last night was a night I will never forget. Not only because it was so fun, but because of the people it took to get there and who are always in my corner,” Patrick, 36, captioned a snap of her and Rodgers, 34, on Instagram. “Haley, Allison, mom, dad, Brooke, Chase, maura, Jeff, Bennett, and all the writers, Valdez, Jimmy….. and of course this one❤️.”

“It’s amazing when you find people you can lean on, and not worry about falling. Thank you. . Also, thank you to all of the other people who came to celebrate and show support! Kim, Jeff, Steph, Greg, Nate, Becca, Eric, Sarah, Lama T, Ed. Thank you,” she continued.

Patrick and Rodgers made their red carpet debut as a couple Wednesday night, after going public with their relationship in January.

“We met at the ESPYs in 2012. We both remember meeting each other, it was quick,” Patrick said in May on Jenny McCarthy’s SiriusXM radio show. “I got his email address, and I remember thinking to myself, ‘Oh, not a phone number? Just an email address?”

The pair eventually swapped numbers – and code names.

“We referred to each other as Chicago and Green Bay — it was very cute,” Patrick gushed.

A lifelong Bears fans, Patrick has officially jumped ship to NFC North rival Packers, thanks to Rodgers.
