Soccer fans discovered yesterday morning that the World Cup match between Denmark and England was not shown live on ESPN or ESPN2.

ESPN’s Disney partner, ABC, will choose games for half-day-old airing through the semifinals. The final will air live on ABC. England’s 3-0 win over Denmark appeared yesterday via tape on ABC at 3:30 p.m.

Spanish-language Univision (Ch. 41) aired live both Paraguay’s 1-0 loss to Germany at 2:25 a.m. and England-Denmark at 7:25 a.m.

The same applies to today’s Ireland-Spain matchup, which will air live on Univision at 7:30 a.m. and on tape on Ch. 7 at 1:30 p.m.
