Upon further review, the stewards have declared a new “Showdown at Saratoga” champion – The Post’s Vic Cangialosi.

Due to a miscalculation innocently made by OTB’s Sean Clancy on his winning selection on Hussonfirst in the sixth race on Sept. 1, his bankroll mistakenly increased by $50. His profit for that play was $51.25, not the $101.25 return that was wrongly added to his account.

The final Showdown at Saratoga totals were:

Vic Cangialosi, $2059.75, Sean Clancy, $2035, John DaSilva, $1953.80 and Ed Fountaine, $1073.50.
