A pair of Arkansas players got a little too close to the enemy.

Razorbacks defensive backs Kamren Curl and Ryan Pulley were suspended for the final game of the regular season, a punishment coming after the pair was seen taking photos and talking with members of the Mississippi State dance team ahead of Saturday’s 52-6 loss against the Bulldogs.

While Arkansas coach Chad Morris didn’t give the specific reason for the end-of-season ban, he was clearly not happy with his players’ conduct.

“They will not be here today or yesterday or any part of this week for unacceptable behavior — actions that are completely unacceptable to anything we’re about,” he told reporters.

Curl has started all 11 games this season for the 2-9 Razorbacks, who are winless (0-7) in SEC play, while Pulley had started nine games.

“Some people have got different focuses,” senior linebacker Dre Greenlaw said after the loss. “Obviously, you could see this game we weren’t in the right mindset.”

Greenlaw and his senior classmates have one game left in their collegiate careers, a matchup with Missouri this weekend, one that they’ll play without two key members of the defense.
