Ironically in Wisconsin, they don’t say “cheese” for the camera.

At least when the football team is losing, they might offer a middle finger instead.

The most telling highlight from the Badgers’ rough early going against Michigan on Saturday was a frustrated fan, captured on the Fox cameras, flipping the bird while they were trailing in the second quarter.

The Badgers were down 10-0 at Camp Randall Stadium and just suffered through a miserable first quarter, in which they were outgained 128-3. Their quarterback, Graham Mertz, went 0-for-4 in the first 15 minutes.

Their special teams was not helpful, either, as they muffed a punt that turned into three early second-quarter points for No. 14 Michigan.

The Badgers eventually scored 10 points late in the second quarter to trim Michigan’s lead to three, but this fan’s viral moment just about summed up Wisconsin’s 1-2 start to the season.
