The Knicks’ blowout loss to the Mavs in Dallas, Thursday night – a game seen nationally on TNT – was followed by the following spew, delivered by TNT studio analyst, Charles Barkley:

“Y’all have got to stop showing the Knicks. I’ve been saying it for two years: They are embarrassing. David Stern, please do us a favor: Don’t make us watch the Knicks anymore.

“They have quit on their coach (Don Chaney); they go through the motions. Please don’t make the millions of fans watching our show sit through that crappy team again.

“I hate watching that team . . . I always wish bad things upon the Knicks because of the way they treated Patrick Ewing, so I’m biased.”
