Ed Grezinsky will try to lead his Bergtraum girls basketball team to their eighth straight PSAL title this year, but while high school teams throughout the area continue to get sponsored by sneaker companies, he hasn’t been able to find any takers for the Lady Blazers.

“We’re still an Ed Grezinsky-sponsored team,” the head coach said.

Yesterday, the famed Apollo Theater in Harlem hosted a “pep rally” held by Nike for teams invited to the Nike Super Six event at the Garden in January.

Among the games scheduled is Bergtraum-Christ the King. A regular season game between the teams has long been sought, but couldn’t be agreed upon until this year. “We’re ready,” said Grezinsky, whose team lost to CTK a year ago in the state Federation championship.
