Rutgers basketball coach Mike Rice has received letters of intent from three players for next season.
The university announced Wednesday that shooting guard Mike Taylor of Brooklyn, forward-center Greg Lewis of Baltimore, and point guard Myles Mack of Paterson, N.J., have signed to compete for the Scarlet Knights.
Taylor averaged 15.8 points in leading Boys & Girls to their first PSAL title since 1979.
Lewis averaged 14 points and 11 rebounds at St. Frances Academy last season. Mack averaged 14.8 points at the recently closed Paterson Catholic last season and is playing his final year at St. Anthony in Jersey City, N.J., where he will be guided by Hall of Fame coach Bob Hurley.
