Jerome Bettis will be a part of NBC’s Football Night in America’s studio show next season.

NBC made the announcement last night during its Olympic coverage as it had Bettis join Bob Costas in its Turin studios. Costas and Cris Collinsworth will also be in the Sunday night studio, along with the still to be announced Sterling Sharpe.

Bettis is looked upon by many TV executives as a natural as an analyst because of his huge smile and strong camera presence. He gained added national recognition during the relentless coverage of his return to his hometown of Detroit before his Steelers won the Super Bowl 15 days ago.

Bettis announced his retirement immediately after the Super Bowl.
