Yet one more indignity perpetrated by Cablevision:

This afternoon’s Thrashers-Islanders game – which would have been a huge game for both the Isles and Rangers had the Blueshirts not lost 2-1 to the Devils last night – will be televised only on the Cablevision-owned Metro channel, which is unavailable to many area non-Cablevision subscribers.

Cablevision-owned MSG Network, available to all local cable subscribers, has no live sports programming scheduled for this afternoon. An MSG spokesperson yesterday said that today’s Islander game was months ago scheduled for Metro – and there it will remain.
