Twitter is the new Tinder — at least for Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones.
After losing Best Breakthrough Athlete to Little League superstar Mo’ne Davis during Wednesday night’s ESPY Awards, the college national champ took to Twitter in hopes of scoring a consolation prize: a date with UFC fighter and anti-dating app advocate Ronda Rousey.
Thinking twice about crossing the line, Jones backed off, fearing a beatdown from one of Rousey’s potential suitors.
While Rousey had more critical matters to attend to — taking swipes at Floyd Mayweather from center stage, for one — Jones then resorted to Plan B.
Jones is still awaiting Jenner’s reply.
