Three-time European champs Manchester United host their EPL rivals Arsenal in the first leg of the Champions League semifinals on Wednesday, four days after a dramatic 5-2 victory over Tottenham when they came back from a 2-0 deficit late in the second half.

Since defeating Chelsea in last season’s final on penalities, manager Alex Ferguson has wanted his team to be the first to retain the trophy since UEFA implemented the round-robin format, followed by an elimination round, in the 1992-93 season.

United is also still on course for a quadruple after winning the FIFA Club World Cup and English League Cup. United is also on course to win the EPL title this season.

Arsenal, meanwhile, travels north to Old Trafford after extending an unbeaten EPL run to an astonishing 20 games after defeating Middlesbrough 2-0 on Sunday.
