The Post’s Dan Martin tracks yesterday’s best Olympic performances by Rangers, Devils and Islanders players.
ZACH PARISE – Devils
USA
Continued to make a name for himself in Vancouver, adding a goal and an assist in the decisive first period, when the U.S. did all of its scoring in its 6-1 victory over Finland.
His power-play goal gave the Americans a 2-0 lead as they advanced to tomorrow’s gold medal game.
JAMIE LANGENBRUNNER – Devils
USA
Had an assist on Paul Stastny’s goal that put the U.S. up 6-0 just 12:46 into the match.
The team captain, who has logged the most ice time of any U.S. forward, had one shot in 14:40 on the ice in the victory over the Finns.
OLLI JOKINEN – Rangers
Finland
The Finns barely showed up, and Jokinen, like the rest of his teammates, didn’t do much.
He finished with three shots but didn’t wind up on the minus side of the ledger in the lopsided semifinal loss.
