LONDON — Manager Andre Villas-Boas has ordered his Chelsea players to include him in their goal celebrations, The Sun reported Saturday.

Villas-Boas issued the demand to his Blues stars days after he accused the media of having an agenda against him and the team over apparent infighting at the English Premier League giant.

The Portuguese believes recognizing the work of him and his assistants after goals are scored will display the solidarity at the club.

“The manager has asked the players to look across and recognize him and his staff on the bench after a goal,” an unnamed club spokesman said.

“He believes that by celebrating together it shows we are all in it together. That’s the players, the manager, the subs, the staff, the medical people — everyone working and celebrating together,” the spokesman added.

Chelsea’s players will get a chance to follow orders Monday when they entertain Manchester City, attempting to claw back a 10-point deficit on the runaway EPL leader.
