Chocolate Thunder is back. Former Lovetron leader and NBA star Darryl Dawkins signed on again yesterday to coach the Pennsylvania ValleyDawgs of the USBL. Dawkins had been coaching in Tampa in the ABA, but said that situation was a mess.

“I’m back where I belong, trying to win a championship with the ValleyDawgs,” said Dawkins, who led the team to the Northern Division title last season. “We’re going to have another great year to prove last season wasn’t a fluke.”

This will be Dawkins’ third year coaching the minor league club. Based in Bethlehem, Pa., the ValleyDawgs begin play in April and have proven to be the most successful franchise in the USBL.
