LOS ANGELES — Chris Childs wasn’t about to back down from Kobe Bryant, even a half-hour after the Lakers had crushed the Knicks 106-82 at the Staples Center last night.

Bryant, in a rage, had tried to break free of escorts in the tunnel leading to the locker room after being ejected from the game as he attempted to get another piece of Childs. When told of Bryant’s tunnel rage, Childs told The Post, “Tell him I’m at the Four Seasons. Room 906.”

Indeed, the Knicks stayed over in Hollywood last night before flying home this morning after completing their five game western trip.

Bryant had left the arena by the time Childs’ invitation could be passed on, but not before calling the Knick guard “a little punk.”
