Archbishop Molloy’s undefeated reign atop the Brooklyn/Queens division lasted less than 24 hours as rival St. Francis Prep scored seven unanswered runs to pound the Stanners, 7-2, at Cunningham Park Wednesday afternoon.
Catcher Chris Cannon had two triples and four RBIs, including one with the bases loaded in a six-run third inning, Jason Perrone and Steve Ellis each drove in a run and Jordan Colflesh had two hits and an RBI. Eric Delgado rallied from a rough first inning, striking out four and giving up four hits to earn the win for St. Francis Prep (5-2), ranked No. 10 in the CHSAA by The Post. No. 4 Archbishop Molloy is now 6-1.
St. Joseph by the Sea 7, St. Raymond 2: Rob Crocitto went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs, Rob Silvestri was 3-for-3 with an RBI and Anthony Battaglia was 2-for-3 with an RBI, while Anthony DeMonte allowed two earned runs on five hits, striking out five with two walks in five innings to earn the win for No. 5 St. Joseph by the Sea (3-2). No. 6 St. Raymond drops to 4-3.
Iona Prep 11, LaSalle 3: Michael Briganti had a three-run triple, Jimmy Foley was 3-for-5 with three RBIs, Justin Muratore and Justin Palladino each had a pair of RBIs and Danny Fischer struck out six and allowed one earned run in five innings to pick up the win for Iona Prep (5-1). LaSalle is now 0-4.
Xaverian 10, Monsignor McClancy 1: Eric Kalman had three hits, including a two-run home run off the scoreboard in center, Tommy Midolo also had three hits, Pittsburgh-bound Elvin Soto had two hits, Frank Scudiero pitched four scoreless innings of one-hit ball to earn the win, Anthony Pastrana was solid in two innings of relief and John Pena tossed one inning of relief for No. 1 Xaverian (5-2). McClancy fell to 2-6.

Fieldston 5, Berkeley Carroll 4: Matt Nunez doubled and drove in two runs and Matt Schwimmer had two hits for Fieldston (4-2), which snapped a two-game losing streak in non-league. Ian Miller allowed one earned run in six innings, Joey Martinez notched three hits, Dan Schwartz had two hits and two RBIs and Andrew Timko scored twice for Berkeley Carroll (3-3).
Packer Collegiate 9, Friends Seminary 6: Michael Duffy struck out eight in 6 2/3 for the win, Nick Morton drove in two runs and Mikey Savino and Scottie Enman each scored twice for Packer (5-2).
